LAKHTA CENTER 1

Lakhta Center is a 27.000 squaremeter scale construction project of a modern business center in Primorsky district of Saint Petersburg exercising a wide range of public functions with a developed public and transport infrastructure. Gazprom neft business center will be built in Lakhta, in Primorsky district of Saint Petersburg, and the project is expected to be completed by 2020. The project of a business center with a high-rise landmark and base buildings was selected as a result of an international architectural contest conducted by the investor in 2006. The winner of the contest was RMJM company which proposed a project complying with the requested functions of the future headquarters of a large energy company and concordant with the architectural traditions of Petersburg. As Konikure, we had the privilidge to meet the project team through Wagner Biro, frontage consultant of Renaissance Construction company during the first stage of Lakhta Center construction.
